Here are a few of my favorite ways to use parsley.
In Cooking
Add dried or fresh parsley to your food. some of my favorites are:
- Mashed potatoes
- steamed veggies
- Potato soup
- Chicken or Fish
Parsley Tea
8-10 oz. purified water
1 Tbs. dried parsley
honey to taste
Bring water to a boil, add parsley, put a lid on it and turn off heat. Let sit for 15 minutes. Strain out parsley and sweeten as desired.
Smoothies
Add a hand full of fresh parsley to your favorite smoothie recipe and enjoy its health benefits. I actually like to freeze my fresh parsley so that I always have some for my smoothies. just cut it up, stick it in freezer bags and label.
